Description

My first ever image of Uranus and its moons I have ever imaged before. Taken at The Oregon Star Party on 081215 at 1000 UTC from a single frame at ISO 1600 40 seconds long using my Celestron C11 at F10 2800mm. This was imaged at prime focal with Huetch Canon 6D attached. The sky was extremely dark at Bortle 1 and very transparent that night.

I labled the moons as shown from Stellarium at the time the image was taken with its location enetered as well as time.

Uranus is a staggering 1.78 million miles from our Sun with an average temperature of -353F. The atmosphere is hydrogen, helium and Methane.
